We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering on the App, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, or when contacting us.

• Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your email address and name, which you provide when registering a user account. You can also access the app as a Guest, in which case no personal details are collected.
• Progress Tracking Data: We store details of completed quizzes, streak history, and bookmark information locally on your device (using Hive) to provide a persistent learning experience. If logged in, basic leaderboard scores are synced to Cloud Firestore.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect or receive to:

• Facilitate account creation and logon process.
• Post leaderboards showing top competitive scores globally.
• Respond to user inquiries and offer support.
• Deliver targeted advertising (via Meta Audience Network) under strict non-personalized delivery defaults unless consent is granted.

3. Information Sharing

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We use the following third-party integrations:

• Firebase Authentication & Firestore: To securely sign in and manage global score boards.
• Meta Audience Network (Facebook Ads): For monetization via non-intrusive banner and native ads.

4. Data Retention and Security

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the security of any personal information we process.

5. Your Rights & Deletion Request

You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time. If you wish to delete your account and associated leaderboard data, you can request account deletion online at our Account Deletion Page, by emailing us at support@bdjobprep.com, or through the Profile settings directly within the app.
